What is blogging, and why is it popular?

The activity of writing an article and posting it chronologically with regular updates is called blogging. Blogging is about more than just putting your thoughts on the web. It’s about connecting with and hearing from anyone who reads your work.

Blogging was for a long called a personal affair. It used to be like writing and maintaining an online diary, done with no intention of promoting products, earning cash, advertising and selling things, supporting a cause, making money, etc. The aim of blogging was to air one’s view and opinion to a wider world on the web.

It was only over time and with the considerable growth of demand in the field of the blogosphere, people are taking advantage of a chance to blog full-time, professionally.

Blogging today has become a lucrative profession for hundreds and thousands of people across the globe. Various blog networks hire people to manage and edit content on their sites and consistently seek blog writers, editors, content writers, and proofreaders. Some companies also employ blog editors on a freelance basis.

If you’re considering diving into the blogging sphere. but can’t dedicate full-time hours, you can still succeed as a part-time blogger. Sites that employ a blogger on a full-time or a part-time basis offer starting salaries in the range of that earned by online content writers/ journalists. While a fresher working as a copy editor for a blogging community could earn little cash for a full-time blog, a writer’s salary has no limits.
